Assemblies

West Field High School values the role of assemblies in enhancing the educational experience of our students. Assemblies provide opportunities for students to learn, celebrate achievements, build a sense of community, and foster school spirit. This policy is established to ensure that assemblies are conducted in a safe, respectful, and inclusive manner that aligns with our school's values and mission.

Student Behavior Expectations:

Students will be respectful to all participants in the assembly. Chanting, booing, inappropriate language, and derogatory comments made to participants will not be tolerated. All students will need to follow Weber District Student Conduct Policy 5000 series.

  1. Students should be respectful to all performers and student government officers who are conducting the assembly. Chanting, booing, inappropriate language, and derogatory comments made to performers will not be tolerated.

  2. Disruptive students may be removed from the auditorium and sent to the cafeteria or office for the duration of the assembly.
