On Thursday, we rolled out the red carpet for our most creative students at Weberfest—an academy-awards-style celebration spotlighting incredible talent in video production, graphic art & design, and photography across Weber School District! Held at Walker Cinemas in North Ogden, students from all of our high schools were recognized and showcased their best work in 25+ categories. It was inspiring to see the passion and skill displayed across so many different forms of media. To top it off, students enjoyed a classic movie theater experience—complete with popcorn and a drink—as they watched the winning entries on the big screen. We are so proud of the creativity and talent shown by our students—and we can’t wait to see what they create next!

Growing Futures: Plant & Soil Science Expo
High school students from across the gathered at West Field High School for the Plant and Soil Science Expo! Led by our amazing greenhouse and plant science teachers, the event connected students with professionals in floristry, herbal medicine, agriculture, wildfire management, and more. Students explored career paths, asked questions, and even learned about summer internships.

West Field High School was featured on Fox 13's Cool Schools. The visit focused on the teachers, students, and the new facilities. It included a visit to Rebecca Haake's classroom. 🎉 Her dedication to family and consumer sciences is inspiring, preparing students for both competitions and real-world success. Granite Credit Union surprised her with a gift to recognize all she is doing!
